Murano Glass Chandelier

I talked about Venice in the previous post and I forgot to mention Murano, which is located off the shore of Venice. Murano is a well-known place for producing Murano glass, a famous product of Venice for centuries. It's home to a marvelous glass museum and several glass factories where you can watch these artists work in their own environment. Murano has its own Grand Canal, along with fascinating shops and sidewalk cafes. If Venice is too busy or overrun with tourists, go to Murano for the workshops and watch the fascinating process of making class in order to better appreciate the time, craftsmanship, and its artisanal creation. It's worth a ride to Murano island by water-taxi.
The art of making glass in Murano first made its appearance in the 8th century. The artistry and skill required to create each piece is undeniable, as is the long, elaborate and often arduous process of its making.
This chandelier was bought for our home when we were there. I love the lanterns of this light's design. It is very Asian and shows the details and hand painting. Another fun thing of this style chandelier is that you can add more lanterns into your chandelier, and we did 13 of them because 13 is our lucky number. Now, it is hung on the ceiling of our bedroom and reminds us of our sweet memory of our trip.
New F21 Sweater.
I styled it with my old Alaia skirt, Urban Outfitters body suit, Eddie Bruno necklace, Givenchy boots. Last week, the weather wasn't too cold-69 F during daytime, so I wanted to wear the sheer tights that added softness and sexiness to this outfit. Wish you all a wonderful day!!!
Thank you very much for visiting my blog and your sweet comments. I truly appreciate it as always. Kisses...Hanh ;-)

Singapore - Christmas at Suntec City

The theme for Suntec City this Christmas seems to be stars. You will see silver and gold stars hanging from from the ceilings of Suntec City Mall. I feel that the Christmas decorations at Suntec is always too plain.

Australia Tours

Australia ToursAustralia tours are among the most popular ways to see this continent. At Vacations To Go, we offer escorted Australian tours with a guide who accompanies the group throughout the itinerary. Tour operators employ skilled, professional tour directors who share their knowledge of Australia with travelers. Many Australian tours combine a segment in Australia with a portion in New Zealand or even an independent stay in Fiji or Tahiti. Other tours visit only Australia, with well-rounded itineraries that include major destinations.

Australia tours bring you close to the country's dazzling scenic beauty. You'll visit wildlife parks where kangaroos hop amid the brush, and be sure to get a picture or two of the koalas, wombats and emus you might see. Australia travel itineraries allow for excursions to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkeling, scuba diving or sailing. Australia travel packages also show you world-famous natural sights like Ayers Rock, a massive formation of 36 red-rock domes. On Australia tours that visit Ayers Rock, you can climb to the top or, if you prefer, stay at the base and hear stories of Aboriginal history.

Australia tours also explore sophisticated cities like Melbourne and Sydney. In Melbourne, Australia vacation packages might take in Melbourne University, the Parliament House or the Queen Victoria Market. Stop in a restaurant for a meal with the locals, a nice addition to Australia travel packages. Some Australia luxury vacations might feature an included dinner at one of Melbourne's top restaurants. Sydney and its world-famous Opera House are key sights on Australia vacations. A cruise of Sydney Harbor is included on some Australia travel packages, giving travelers a picturesque view of that great city.

Because in some cases you'll need to fly a long distance to reach the departure city of your Australian tour, you may want to arrive at the departure city at least one or two days in advance. This gives you time to rest and get oriented. Most companies offer hotel packages, available as add-ons to Australia vacations tour.
